of Rafael Leao.The Barcelona defender showed off a cut and bruised leg after a tangle with the Gala forward in the 4-1 win for Hansi Flick’s side.
“A little gift I’m taking from Turkey,” he said with a laugh. “A play with Leao, a knock.”
Eric was spotted with some strapping over his leg after the match but the knock isn’t expected to force him to miss any game time for Barcelona.
Hansi Flick’s side will now switch focus to a trip to Real Betis in La Liga on Saturday night. Los Verdiblancos have started the season in good form and are flying high in the Spanish top flight currently.
Barcelona will then head to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League before a first Clasico of the new campaign.
