Right now, NFL circles are captivated by the situation concerning Maxx Crosby, specifically his role in the failed trade between the Las Vegas Raiders and Baltimore Ravens. There’s no shortage of “analysis” that seems to have more than a few folks reaching into the anatomy and physiology
bag of tricks.
The Ravens voided their trade agreement with Las Vegas because Crosby’s surgically repaired left meniscus wasn’t cleared following a physical exam, which was to be expected after only few months removed from surgery. Instead, Baltimore’s front office had a very quick deal in place to land unrestricted free-agent defensive end Trey Hendrickson. The timing of everything is very suspect, but the only thing that matters is that Crosby is once again available.
Would a new trade for Crosby have to include similar compensation in the form of two first-round draft picks? Is his knee injury too much to contend with given his current contract? Or is the 28-year-old Crosby a “win-at-all-costs” move the likes of which president of football operations/general manager Brandon Beane can’t afford to pass up?
As such, we now we want to know how you really feel about the idea of trading for him. Should the Buffalo Bills actually try and pull off a trade for Maxx Crosby, now that he’s again available thanks to the Ravens’ shenanigans?
