The Portland Trail Blazers made a bold, and economical, move in the Summer of 2022 as they acquired forward Jerami Grant from the Detroit Pistons for a single first-round pick and a couple of seconds. Grant spent four years with the Blazers, averaging 19 points per game and shooting 39% from the three-point arc before Portland traded
him last month to the Memphis Grizzlies for Ja Morant.
This week we’re polling Blazers fans across the nation. The swap left the Blazers a bit impoverished at the forward positions. Even in his latest, declining seasons, Grant was scoring near 20 points and stood among Portland’s best three-point shooters.
