Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlović turned in a spirited effort in his team’s 2-0 victory over RB Leipzig in the DFB-Pokal and the talented 21-year-old is eager to take yet another step in the competition.
When asked if he had any preference for who Bayern Munich plays next, Pavlović almost channeled his inner-Ric Flair.
“Not really. Whoever wants to come can come. If you want to win the title, you have to beat anyone,” Pavlović said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Aside of Bayern Munich, SC Freiburg, VfB Stuttgart, and Bayer Leverkusen have also advanced in the tournament. This season, Bayern Munich has victories over each of these teams in the Bundesliga and has outscored those teams 14-2.
While that is impressive, do not expect the Bavarians to take any of those clubs lightly. Each has the capability to make life hell for Bayern Munich on a given day.
That said, the Bavarians are not exactly a picnic for anyone else to deal with, either.
