Woltemade not on Bayern’s radar (Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg via @iMiaSanMia)
Last summer, Bayern Munich was hot after then-VfB Stuttgart attacker Nick Woltemade until Die Schwaben decided not to sell the Germany international to the Bavarians. Eventually, the relationship between Woltemade and VfB Stuttgart became so strained that he moved on to Newcastle United.
Now, Woltemade might have the chance to leave Newcastle, but Bayern Munich might not be interested:
Bayern have not revived their interest in Nick Woltemade, amid his complicated situation at Newcastle. He’s currently
not a topic for the club, not even if he would be available on loan. Bayern have other plans for this summer.
Right now, the timing is off for a Woltemade move, but that does not mean Bayern Munich would not consider it in a year or two. With Harry Kane expected to re-up and a potentially crowded attacking group, Woltemade likely is not in the cards for the 2026/27 season.
United believes it can keep Fernandes (ESPN)
Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has been linked with a move away from the club, but the Red Devils think they will be able to hold on to him:
Manchester United chiefs believe they will do enough to prevent Bruno Fernandes pursuing an exit this summer, so long as they confirm qualification for the UEFA Champions League, according to the Daily Mirror. Senior figures are reportedly confident about keeping the club captain, who has one year left on his contract with the option of another year. Fernandes was linked with a transfer to the Saudi Pro League last summer, while he has since outlined his desire to play in Spain or Italy if he leaves Old Trafford. United need two points from their remaining games to secure Champions League qualification, which would secure a return to the competition for the first time since 2023/24.
Chelsea, Barca join United in wanting Kane (The Hard Tackle)
Aside of Manchester United (which we heard about in Monday’s Schmankerl), Chelsea and FC Barcelona are also on the #KaneTrain and plan to try to tempt Harry Kane to their respective clubs:
Bayern Munich have no interest in considering a sale of goal-machine Harry Kane amid reports of interest from some of the top clubs. Harry Kane has transformed his reputation as a goal-machine since moving to Bayern Munich, as he has continued to deliver successful results. Fussball Daten revealed that the Bundesliga champions have no intention of considering offers for their talismanic striker, amid reports of interest from Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea.
Reports are stating Bayern Munich are planning contract talks with the striker, which could be a major step in the right direction. Die Roten are not interested in parting ways with Kane, and could offer him more than the €25 million-a-year wages he currently earns. Their trust in the player who saw them pay a hefty fee to Tottenham was indicative enough of their faith in him, which has paid off well. Hence, Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester United could face a blow in their slim efforts to probably explore a move for the Bayern talisman.
Barring Bayern Munich winning the treble, England winning the World Cup, and Kane suddenly having the urge to leave, the striker will stay put.
Swap deal between United, Milan for Leão (ESPN)
Swap deal? Hell yeah! This one is based around Rafael Leão heading to Manchester United for one of the players seeking to leave the Red Devils:
AC Milan’s interest in several Manchester United players may pave the way for Rafael Leão to move to Old Trafford, Gazzetta dello Sport reports. The Italian outlet claims that Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers is United’s No. 1 target to bolster their attack this summer, but Leão is an option who could be signed for a lower fee. Milan are open to offers for the Portugal winger as they look to fund a squad overhaul. While there haven’t been any firm talks over a switch, Milan’s interest in Marcus Rashford, Manuel Ugarte, and Joshua Zirkzee may help get a deal over the line.
Camavinga wants to stay at Real (Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano)
There were rumors swirling that Eduardo Camavinga was going to be shopped by Real Madrid this summer, but the midfielder wants to stay with Los Blancos:
🚨 Eduardo Camavinga mantains his position: he wants to stay at Real Madrid and fight for his place next season.
Manager situation will be important to clarify final decision on club side.

Atletico Madrid are considering signing Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Julian Brandt following the departure of Antoine Griezmann.
