Bayern, Barca, Real, offered Salah? (The Hard Tackle)
According to a report, Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona, and Real Madrid have all been offered Liverpool star Mo Salah. Salah, of course, seems like he is attempting to force his way out of Liverpool after a legendary run at the club:
According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich will have the opportunity to sign Mohamed Salah next year. The disgruntled Liverpool attacker has offered his services to the three European bigwigs amid hopes of remaining in Europe after
leaving the Merseyside club.
Mohamed Salah is clearly unsettled, leading to questions about his Liverpool future and Arne Slot’s position at the Merseyside club. In the meantime, the former AS Roma attacker has offered his services to Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich. A move to Real Madrid may not be realistic, considering the club’s policy of pursuing youngsters instead of players over 30.
However, Barcelona may find the disgruntled Liverpool attacker a player worth pursuing, considering they do not mind short-term solutions in the final third. But with Lamine Yamal being an undisputed first-choice starter, Barcelona may prefer chasing a striker or a left-winger.
The same issue arises at Bayern Munich, as Michael Olise has been the undisputed first-choice starter on the right flank. However, with Olise a target for Premier League bigwigs like Arsenal and Liverpool, the Bundesliga champions must keep their options open.
From Salah’s perspective, offering his services to the three European bigwigs makes sense. However, amid links with Saudi Pro League outfits and MLS clubs, a move outside Europe may be the likeliest scenario for the 33-year-old Egyptian international.
Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl already tried to cull the rumors with a statement on Tuesday, but speculation could continue to mount as Salah’s situation gets more dire. All that said, it would make no sense for Bayern Munich to bring in Salah at this stage of his career, especially considering how well the attacking group has played this season.
No movement on Upamecano (Sport Bild’s Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl via @iMiaSanMia)
Despite recent statements from Uli Hoeneß, which indicated that there was confidence that Bayern Munich would get a deal done with Dayot Upamecano, it appears that nothing has changed:
Regarding Uli Hoeneß’ recent statement on Dayot Upamecano (I think he will extend his contract), both Bayern and the player’s camp insist that there’s no new development. Talks are still ongoing; a decision before the end of this year is possible, but by no means certain. Hoeneß’ statement was more of a gut feeling than a real information.
Time is ticking on this situation. Right now, there is still hope for a deal to get done, but the subjects of a sign-on bonus and a release clause seem to still be open items on the negotiating table.

LFC scouting Leipzig’s Diomande (ESPN)
Given the situation with Mo Salah, Liverpool could be looking for another attacking players and RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande is on the English club’s radar:
TEAMtalk reports that Liverpool scouts were in attendance as 19-year-old RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande scored a hat trick in the 6-0 Bundesliga victory over Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday, and interest in him could be stepped up after Mohammed Salah’s explosive postmatch interview following Liverpool’s draw with Leeds. Liverpool have also identified Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo as a potential replacement for Salah, according to The Daily Express. The Reds are reported to be considering a move for the 25-year-old in January, when a release clause in his contract that allows clubs to sign him for a fee in the region of £60 million will become active.
Kimmich praises Davies for attitude during rehab (@iMiaSanMia)
Every day, Joshua Kimmich seems to be evolving into more of a leader at Bayern Munich and also with making up a lot of the team’s public speaking.
Naturally, Kimmich was asked about the return of Alphonso Davies and the Germany captain indicated that the team is excited to have its Canadian star back in the fold:
“It was a difficult time for him, but he’s always brought positive energy. The way he went through his rehab was exemplary and outstanding. He gives us a lot on and off the pitch,” said Kimmich.
United spurns Roma offer for Zirkzee (ESPN)
AS Roma wants former Bayern Munich striker, but Manchester United is not going to let that happen….at least not yet:
Manchester United have declined an offer from AS Roma for forward Joshua Zirkzee, according to Corriere Dello Sport. The Italian club is keen to land the Netherlands international on loan in January with an option to make the deal permanent, but it has been rejected by United on the basis that the activation of the release clause was based on the Giallorossi qualifying for a UEFA Champions League place. United officials are happy for the 24-year-old to leave the club in January but would prefer the deal was permanent. Zirkzee has featured in eight matches in all competitions this season.
