UFC Vegas 114 went down last night (Sat., March 14, 2026) inside Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, which saw Kevin Vallejos annihilate Josh Emmett via technical knockout (TKO) in the very first round (see it again here). In the co-main event of the evening, Gillian Robertson defeated Amanda Lemos via unanimous decision in women’s Strawweight action.
Biggest Winner: Kevin Vallejos
Vallejos continued his impressive run inside the Octagon after demolishing Emmett in the very first round (video here). The
hulking 145-pounder was a man on a mission from the start and he accomplished it by absolutely brutalizing the longtime veteran to up his win streak to seven in a row, which includes winning his first four bouts under the UFC banner. I can see him cracking the Top 10 following his huge win, which means he could be in line for a huge fight in his next outing. Vallejos has officially broken through and has shown the rest of the division that he will be a problem for anyone standing across from him.
Runner Up: Gillian Robertson
Robertson is inching closer to a spot in the Top 5, and her big win over former title contender, Lemos, could be the ticket that gets her there because the Brazilian standout is currently holding down the No. 5 spot at Strawweight. “The Savage” defeated Lemos via unanimous decision after a spirited effort, bringing her win streak to five in a row, which means things are looking up for the surging contender who has not tasted defeat in three years.
Biggest Loser: Josh Emmett
Things just keep getting worse for Emmett, who was on the receiving end of a brutal and quick beatdown from Vallejos. He has now lost three in a row, and five of his last six fights under the UFC banner. What was particularly alarming about the fight was that Vallejos made it look easy, which doesn’t bode well for the 41 year-old Emmett, who will now have to go back to see what the future holds. There is no telling if he will call it a day, but he is going to have to look deep to see if he wants to continue after the horrid run he is currently on. Can he turn it around? It’s possible. That said, the division is absolutely loaded with talent, which means Emmett will have his work cutout for himself.
