The Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints are set to battle at Lumen Field Sunday afternoon as the hosts deal with a rash of injuries to key players, particularly in the secondary.
Specifically, on the Friday injury report, the team designated four players as doubtful, including:
- cornerback Devon Witherspoon
- safety Julian Love
- safety Nick Emmanwori and
- running back Zach Charbonnet.
Then, just to add a bit of fuel to the fire, the team announced Saturday afternoon that third year wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba had been added to the injury report as questionable as he was dealing with an illness.
