What is the story about?
Welcome back to College Football Saturday!
While your Miami Hurricanes played (and lost) last night, there are a couple marquee matchups tonight in Primetime to take your attention.
While you watch games from coast to coast today, hop in the comments and talk about the action as it happens. And, in case you needed to know who to root for in games with ACC teams, we’ve got you covered on that front:
I’ll post a couple highlight games in this window, but here’s a watchgrid graphic from TrigDraws, a contributor
with another network.

Here are the games I’m watching this evening, with lines provided by our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook:
- #11 Tennessee at #6 Alabama, 7:30pm, ABC; line: Alabama -8.5 — The 3rd Saturday in October means Alabama-Tennessee. This is a huge game for both teams, perfect for the primetime ABC national TV slot.
- #20 USC at #13 Notre Dame, 7:30pm, NBC; line: Notre Dame -9.5 — Traditional rivalry in a primetime slot. Both teams want to get into the CFP conversation, and a win is a step along that path. While my heart wants USC to win, Miami’s strength of schedule needs Notre Dame to win, even if I would personally love for Notre Dame to lose and be effectively eliminated from CFP contention.
- #23 Utah at #15 BYU, 8pm, FOX; line: Utah -3.5 — The Holy War. One of the most fiercely contested rivalries in all of sport. And, an EPIC jersey matchup. Blood Red (Utah) vs Pure Blue (BYU). These teams HATE each other, so this should be a good game to watch.

- Pitt at Syracuse, 7:30pm, ACC Network; line: Pitt -10.5 — Miami plays both of these teams later in this season. Watch them to see some of what we’ll face off against in the month of November.
That’s the lay of the land this evening. Which games have your attention?
Enjoy the show tonight!
