The Premier League returns and Saturday’s match is the first of nine in the run in towards Christmas. After today, City face Leverkusen on Tuesday and Leeds next Saturday, before a madcap December which
sees us visit Fulham, Real Madrid, Crystal Palace and West Ham, with home matches against Sunderland and Brentford somewhere in between. That’s going to be a lot of gut feelings and surely we must get some perfect scores during this crazy period.
This week, we take on Newcastle who are not exactly setting the Premier League on fire at the moment despite their heroics in the Champions League, and City will fancy their chances of bringing the three points back to Manchester on a cold Saturday evening.
As always, our team are here to give us their thoughts and opinions on how the match will go. Here’s what we think this week.
Saul
Tricky away matchup. Have to back City with an in-form Foden, Haaland and Doku. 3-1 Citeh.
Newcastle 1-3 City
Will
City will be hoping to pick up where they left off against Liverpool in a difficult away fixture. I’m predicting a win against an out-of-form Newcastle.
Newcastle 0-3 City
Thomas
City take on the Magpies, looking to keep their form going. The Geordies have not had the start they would have wanted. City for the win!!
NUFC 0-3 City
What happened against Liverpool
Well…we gave the scousers a good thumping Manchester City style, that’s what happened! The Blues ran out comfortable winners, which will leave the scousers crying about their disallowed goal until the end of the 29/30 season.
Thomas came closest to a perfect score, predicting a 3-1 win, with Will going for 4-2 and Pete trying for a 1-0 win. Saul was again giving us a chance to catch up!!
Here’s the table:
