The Deacs did not play very well last week, but they have a chance to put that behind them and get back on track today against Western Carolina. The Catamounts are currently 0-1 and gave up over 600 yards in their first game, so the Deacs need to take advantage of a bad defense and prove to themselves and the fans that they are capable of putting points on the board. Even if it is against an FCS opponent, a dominant display today should result in a lot more optimism and excitement heading into a rivalry game against the Wolfpack next week.
