The Cincinnati Bengals were officially eliminated from playoff contention after a shutout loss to the Ravens, but that didn’t stop this team from picking up a dominant win over the Dolphins this past weekend,
45-21.
The Bengals are now set to host the 3-12 Arizona Cardinals this upcoming Sunday and will look for their 6th win on the season and move to 6-10 overall.
The last time these two teams met was back in October of 2023, when Joe Burrow and company picked up a 34-20 win with a monster game from Ja’Marr Chase, who posted 15 catches for 192 yards and three touchdowns.
Fast-forward to 2025, and the Bengals defense will need to slow down Jacoby Brissett, Trey McBride, and up-and-coming wide receiver Michael Wilson.
The Cincinnati defense is notoriously bad at simply covering and defending tight ends and will now need to contain one of the best in the league at that position in Trey McBride.
The defense does have momentum on their side after a stellar performance against the Dolphins last week, forcing three turnovers in the second half.
Overall, I expect the Bengals to pull out another win and take care of business against an unimpressive Arizona football team.
How do you think this Sunday’s game will end up? The Bengals enter the game as 7-point favorites via FanDuel Sportsbook.
