Not to be too hyperbolic, but over Manchester United, at Old Trafford, just might be enough to save Arne Slot’s job as Liverpool manager. Of course, it’s not just beating United, but combined with the win at New Goodison, potentially finishing third in the league, and strong finish down the stretch all bodes well for the manager who has been in the hot seat this season. It would certainly go a long way toward shaking off the bad
feelings and unending mediocre performances from this season, and give us something to look forward to next season.
So. Winning would be a good thing. Unless you’re just steadfastly #SlotOut, which…I can’t blame you.
