The Blaugrana had won 17 or the previous 18 matches before their humbling loss in Madrid, which leaves them hanging by a thread in the Spanish Cup and creates serious doubt about their chances in the Champions League.
Barça still control their destiny in La Liga and will be favorites to win it given
Real Madrid’s inconsistencies, but it’s safe to wonder whether the Catalans are capable of winning another title beyond the league.
