David Peterson unraveled in his second straight start, giving up five runs in the team’s 7-2 loss to the Diamondbacks. He managed to settle down and still give the team five innings, but the damage had been done and the offense couldn’t muster much in the way of a comeback. Sean Manaea came out of the bullpen and pitched four innings to finish off the game but he gave up two runs in his relief appearance. The team now looks to take the series with Nolan McLean on the mound.
