Lavar Keys Flips to Indiana
Former Penn State commit and three-star wide receiver Lavar Keys has now flipped to Indiana:
The Maryland native
originally committed to Penn State in August of 2024 and decommitted on October 12, the day James Franklin was fired. He visited Indiana on October 25 for its resounding 56-6 win over UCLA.
Jack Fuchs Flips to Northwestern
Three-star offensive tackle Jack Fuchs flipped to Northwestern:
Fuchs committed to Penn State on June 27 after making a visit a week earlier. He decommitted on October 20 and then made the call for the Wildcats after visiting on November 7.
David Davis Flips to North Carolina
Four-star cornerback David Davis flipped to North Carolina:
Davis committed to Penn State on March 25. North Carolina had not offered him until October 14. He visited the Tar Heels on November 7, and after that point a flip felt inevitable.
James Franklin Offers Former Penn State Commit
If you told me two months ago I would be writing this headline on November 18, I would have thought you were from outer space. James Franklin has wasted no time beginning to build his roster since being officially hired as Virginia Tech’s head coach yesterday. Former Penn State commit Roseby Lubintus received an offer from Franklin:
Lubintus’ recruitment has been a roller coaster. He committed to Penn State in April and then flipped to Syracuse in July. On October 14, he decommitted from Syracuse and reopened his recruitment.
With James Franklin at Virginia Tech, Penn State’s recruiting in its usual strongholds will be more difficult.
BONUS: Masun Fleece Decommits From Penn State Hockey
Masun Fleece, a member of Penn State hockey’s currently gigantic 2026 class, has decommitted:
Fleece is a four-star forward prospect and has scored over 1.5 points per game this season in the USHL. This is a big loss for a Penn State team that will be replacing a lot of scoring production in 2026-27.
