Man of the Year nominee has worked with numerous local organizations, including Better Dads Society, the Jacksonville Arts and Music School, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida. Believing in the strength of families and community, Dawuane Smoot and his wife, Aumari, opened enrollment at the bilingual, faith-based school in 2023.
