This proposed rule change is gaining even more traction, and the fans here are in favor of it as well. Trying to limit career college athletes, while also eliminating

the outdated redshirt rule, seems to address a few different things at once. A player’s eligibility clock would start when they arrive on campus, and they would have five years to complete their career.
