Arizona brings back a fair number of offensive weapons for 2026, most notably quarterback Noah Fifita and all but one running back. But last season showed that having a lot of viable options to give the
ball to made the offense harder to stop, and that same approach appears to be the plan once again
The UA has gotten a commitment from former Colorado State wide receiver Jordan Ross, the sixth offensive skill position pickup from the NCAA transfer portal. He will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Ross played in 20 games for Colorado State, including the 2024 Arizona Bowl when he had four catches for 58 yards. For his career Ross has 26 receptions for 302 yards and a touchdown.
Ross joins former DJ Jordan (USC) and Rodney Gallagher III (West Virginia l) as wide receiver pickups from the portal as the UA looks to replace Kris Hutsin, Nunu Whatley and Luke Wysong. The Wildcats have also added a trio of tight ends.
Overall the UA is up to 16 known portal commitments, eight on offense. The Wildcats still have about 10 roster spots to fill.
