Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Packers fans and fans across the country.
Playoffs? We’re talking about playoffs?
Surely that will be the reactions of some readers who see the question in the headline of this article. But after five weeks have passed on the 2026 NFL season, the Green Bay Packers somehow sit in the #5 spot in the NFC. Their 3-2 record puts them in a tie with the Bears and Lions in the NFC North
and the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC West, but Green Bay’s results to this point have them ahead of each of those teams on tiebreakers.
What does that mean in week five? Realistically, it doesn’t mean much, aside from the fact that the Packers have managed to keep themselves afloat despite all of their issues over the first few games. During the current two-game winning streak, Green Bay’s offensive line has looked good enough to at least keep Jordan Love upright enough to lead a functional passing game.
Now, with a pretty significant game looming against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football, we want to know if Packers fans are feeling good enough about the team to project them to make the postseason when all is said and done. Surely the big win over the Bears last Sunday will boost fans’ overall confidence in the team, but is it enough to get you to believe that this is a playoff team?
Let us know in the polls and comments below and we’ll be back to talk about the results later this week.
