The (1-0) Chicago Bears will look to win their home opener on Sunday against the (1-0) Minnesota Vikings, and thanks to the Detroit Lions’ loss on Thursday Night Football, whichever team comes out on top will be all alone in first in the NFC North.
After a historic Week 1, the Bears will look to keep the offense going, but could they set another record?
Our guy Bill Zimmerman looked it up and found that the 1968 Raiders hold the record for the most points scored in the first two weeks of the season
at 95.
It seems unlikely the Bears could hit 37 to break the record, but it was also unlikely they’d explode for 59 points in Week 1.
