Johnny Walker was in real trouble, but when you have a fighter as wild and crazy as he is, you’re never out of it. Walker battled back from a deficit to knock out top-10 heavyweight Waldo Cortes-Acosta in the main event of UFC Vegas 124. Because of the short-notice nature of the contest, where do you put Walker’s ceiling in the division?
Following the UFC Fight Night card, MMA Fighting’s Mike Heck and Jed Meshew react to the action at the Meta APEX, Walker’s crazy win in the Fight of the Night, and where
he could go in his new home at heavyweight. Additionally, topics include Tatiana Suarez’s title hopes following a lackluster win over Virna Jandiroba in the co-main event, Elijah Smith’s breakout performance, other standout moments, Brendan Fitzgerald battling through illness throughout the card, Dana White possibly becoming Donald Trump’s press secretary, and more.
