Prepare to break the bank because WWE’s latest piece of memorabilia is definitely worth it.
WWE’s online store opened bidding last Monday on pieces of the suit worn by Cody Rhodes at last year’s Elimination Chamber. The set includes Rhodes’ blood-stained white dress shirt, vest, and tie, the result of a shocking betrayal.
After John Cena won the men’s Elimination Chamber match, Rhodes entered the ring to congratulate the man he was set to face at WrestleMania 41. They were soon joined by The Rock and
rapper Travis Scott, as The Rock came calling for Rhodes’ soul.
When Rhodes rejected The Rock’s offer, Cena attacked him, turning heel for the first time in 20 years. The trio then took turns beating down “The American Nightmare,” with Scott delivering a particularly stiff shot to Rhodes’ ear.
As Rhodes began to bleed, his blood soaked into the clothes. Now, those items can be yours, though it won’t be cheap. The current bid has surpassed $30,000.
Still, fans have until Jan. 26 to dig through their couches for loose change — though at $30,000 and climbing, they may need several cushions.
