Terrible news for the Jets yesterday. Guard Alijah Vera-Tucker tore his triceps and will miss the entire 2025 season. This is the second time Vera-Tucker has torn a triceps. With the injury the Jets will likely shift Joe Tippmann to guard and start Josh Myers at center this season. It’s not ideal, but at least Myers has multiple years of experience starting in the NFL. For now the Jets have decent options. One more serious injury on the offensive line, however, would
put the Jets in a much more dire situation. Fingers crossed the remaining starters stay healthy.
