The Arizona Cardinals are back, baby!
Carson Beck had a hell of a debut, finishing 15/19 188 yards and a touchdown and helped the Arizona Cardinals take a 17-14 lead.
However, they gave up another quick drive before the half and it was tied 17-17.
It was a beautiful prelude of things to come.
The Arizona Cardinals offense looked great once again racking up 425 yards and scoring 30 points.
They also out possessed the Panthers by nearly nine minutes.
Yet the defense looks… well the same.
I get it, no one
of importance was playing late, but for a team and culture that was so bad on defense last year, that is not the message you want to send once again.
Sure, the starters held the Panthers scoreless in the first quarter, but after that is was basically a free for all.
So, does it matter? Or do we just enjoy the Carson Beck performance?
