Jon Jones is begging to be a part of the UFC White House event in June 2026.
In addition, “Bones” has partnered with one of his sponsors to produce an unofficial UFC White House video, which has flashes of fellow Octagon great, Alex Pereira. Jones relinquished his heavyweight title earlier this year and retired, only to reverse course after the promotion announced its blockbuster White House card
.Have a look:
“In the summer of 2026, America turns 250 years old, and I couldn’t
be more proud to call myself an American,” Jones said in his Instagram video. “I love this country. The people, the promise, the fire. This nation was built on courage and conflict. On the belief that we could take on the biggest, the boldest, and come out victorious. That’s how I’ve lived my life.”
He’s certainly had his share of conflict. As for courage … well, this decision speaks for itself.
“I can’t help but think, what a better way to celebrate America’s fight then for the best fighters to put it on full display,” Jones added. “To remind the world who we are, not just a country of words, but of warriors. Maybe somewhere iconic, or maybe on a certain someone’s lawn. All I know is, I’m fueled up, fired up, and ready. I bless the United States of America, and God bless the fighters who carry its spirit.”
The light heavyweight champ is on board — but the boss remains unconvinced.
