Good morning Broncos Country! With training camp approaching, we’re finally at the end of the long and boring part of the offseason. Before you even realize it, training camp will be over and Week 1 will be kicking off. It is that close now!
In a few weeks, we’ll truly get our first look at the Denver Broncos 2026 rookie draft class and there are some potential boom candidates in that list. Of their seven draft picks, which one do you think has the best chance to have a breakout type rookie year?
- Round 3, Pick 66: Tyler Onyedim, DT, Texas A&M
- Round 4, Pick 108: Jonah Coleman, RB, Washington
- Round 4, Pick 111: Kage Casey, OT, Boise State
- Round 5, Pick 152: Justin Joly, TE, N.C. State
- Round 7, Pick 246: Miles Scott, S, Illinois
- Round 7, Pick 256: Dallen Bentley, TE, Utah
- Round 7, Pick 257: Red Murdock, LB, Buffalo
For me, it comes down to two players: Jonah Coleman and Justin Joly. If I had to pick one to break out it will probably be Coleman. That backfield has potential to spread things around and if he gets a hot hand or an injury happens, he will get the opportunities required to have a breakout if a breakout is to happen.
Who you do think has the best chance this season to breakout as a rookie?
