Triple-A: Syracuse Mets (11-9)
GAME 1: SYRACUSE 9, SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE 4 / 7 (BOX)
Four home runs in a seven inning game is a pretty good way to get a win. Ryan Clifford got things started in the first, and all three of Ronny Mauricio, Vidal Brujan, and Onix Vega got in on the action in the third. That was more than enough run support for Carl Edwards Jr..

GAME 2: SYRACUSE 7, SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE 4 / 7 (BOX)
Clifford trying to make up for lost time – despite coming into the day with an OPS under .700, Clifford homered for the second
time in two games, raising his OPS up to .767. Those were his first two long balls on the year, and he also avoided striking out. That led a comprehensive offensive effort, pushing the Mets to a sweep of the doubleheader.

Double-A: Binghamton Rumble Ponies (6-7
AKRON 5, BINGHAMTON 4 (BOX)
Despite outhitting the RubberDucks 7-6, the Rumble Ponies lost 5-4. So it goes. Two errors, leading to an unearned run, were the difference, though most of the arms weren’t particularly clean or effective. Just don’t let your teenage children see Binghamton’s record now.

High-A: Brooklyn Cyclones (4-9)
BROOKLYN 8, GREENBOROUGH 3 (BOX)
A couple of former top prospects carried the day here in Brooklyn. Ronald Hernandez had two hits and two walks, while Colin Houck had three hits and a walk of his own. Neither are anything more than fliers at this point (and Houck is basically a complete non-prospect at this point) but fun things can still happen in High-A.

- 1B Ronald Hernandez: 2-3, R, 2 2B, 3 RBI, 2 BB, K
- C Daiverson Gutierrez: 2-5, R, 2 K

Single-A: St. Lucie Mets (7-7)
ST. LUCIE 12, DAYTONA 8 (BOX)
Maybe we need to pump the breaks a bit on the Cam Tilly breakout. Despite flashing fun stuff, his velocity hasn’t ticked up as much as you would have hoped and the results haven’t been there since the first start. Still stuff to like, but there’s work to be done here. Anyway, St. Lucie stole seven bases and scored 12 runs, with Elian Peña leading the way at the top of the lineup. The 18-year-old has as many walks as strikeouts and a 142 wRC+ through his first two weeks in full-season ball, an impressive start to be sure.
- SS Elian Peña: 2-5, R, 2 RBI, BB, K, SB (6), E (2)
- 3B Sam Robertson: 1-6, 2 K, 2 SB (10)
- LF Randy Guzman: 0-3, 2 R, 2 BB, K, 2 SB (3)
- DH AJ Salgado: 1-4, 2 R, 2B, BB, 2 K
- RF Simon Juan: 2-5, 2 RBI, 3 K
- 1B Chase Meggers: 3-4, 2 R, 2B, RBI, BB, K
- CF Sam Biller: 1-5, R, SB (3)
- C Francisco Toledo: 2-4, 2 R, RBI, BB
- 2B Vladi Gomez: 1-3, 2 R, 2B, RBI, BB, K, SB (1)
