What is the story about?
Watching
those two teams last night, it’s clear they are on a different level than the Phillies. Maybe they get by one of them in a five game series, but there is no shot either is getting beat should a series between them and the Phillies go seven games. The chasm is too wide.
On to the links.
Phillies news:
- Five questions for the Phillies that are on everybody’s minds as the offseason starts to get closer and closer.
- Where Alec Bohm lands in free agency is going to be interesting. Might he end up back in Philadelphia?
MLB news:
- Even though he has spurned the Phillies twice, Alex Cora is expected to manage in baseball once again ($).
- The White Sox, even though they are still stinging from an ALDS defeat, are showing they are no longer a laughingstock ($).
- Shane McClanahan will not pitch for Tampa Bay in any postseason game this year. A shame as he’s a big talent.
