Damian Pinas proved he’s one of the hardest-hitting fighters in the sport earlier tonight (Sat., Oct. 3, 2026) at UFC 332 LIVE on Paramount+/CBS from inside Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, putting a violent stop to middleweight Andrey Pulyaev with a one-punch first-round knockout stoppage.
Pinas came into this weekend as a heavy betting favorite, but he was taking a step up in competition against a fighter with a large frame. Most believed Pinas’ power would still land, but you never know when
two big middleweights start slinging heavy leather. Unfortunately for Pulyaev, Pinas looked better than ever.
It took “Baba Yaga” just over one minute to land a starching right uppercut inside. Pulyaev collapsed where he stood and Pinas was able to walk off his win. The finish was one of the most violent punches of the year, yet Pinas didn’t even seem to throw it full power. It was downright incredible.
