Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year, we ask questions of the most plugged-in Bears fans and fans across the country.
The offseason is over as the NFL’s regular season gets underway in just eight days. There will still be some roster shuffling around the league, but for the most part, teams are locked in for Week 1.
The Chicago Bears open the season on the road against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, September 13, and while some of the roster and coaching
staff remained, there was some turnover on both fronts.
How would you assess the Bears’ entire offseason?
Chicago lost safety Coby Bryant, their top free agent acquisition, to a knee injury, so do you think they bolstered the position enough?
The defensive line didn’t get any major additions, and they recently traded away their second-ranked sacker, so are you concerned about the D-line?
The Bears also rearranged the secondary, so will the defense be better or worse overall?
The entire draft class made the 53-man roster, so do you expect them to make a collective impact?
Do you think the change from Declan Doyle to Press Taylor as offensive coordinator will affect the offense?
Are you expecting a jump in production from the offense in year two of Ben Johnson’s scheme?
Think of the entire offseason as a whole before voting in this week’s Reacts poll and share your thoughts in the comment section.
