The Portland Trail Blazers have completed their 2025-26 season with a 42-40 record, a NBA Play-In Tournament victory over the Phoenix Suns, and a 3-1 loss to the San Antonio Spurs in the first round of the 2026 NBA Playoffs.
Compared to recently-passed seasons, this year was practically a masterpiece for the Blazers. They set the goal of making the Play-In at least, the playoffs if possible, and they did both. Ultimately, though, they bowed out of the postseason early, in a fashion that wasn’t the most
cosmetically appealing.
That begs the question of the day: Was Portland’s season successful in your estimation? If so, why? If not, why not?
We’re throwing open that opening-of-summer question to you today. Share your thoughts in the comments section below and let us know how you’d evaluate the year!
