It’s been a dark week to be a Purdue sports fan. First, the Indiana Hoosiers, the team with the most losses in football, just completed one of the most improbable turnarounds in sports history and won
the football national title on Monday. Where does this leave Purdue football and Purdue fans? How do you recover from going into the basement while your rival, who used to live in that basement only being allowed out once every 10 seasons for a small sip of water, ascends and takes the master bedroom? Ryan and I discuss that in this episode of the podcast.
Then, we switch over to the basketball court and look at Purdue’s loss to UCLA and what it means for this Purdue season. Ryan is more optimistic than I am but maybe I’m just letting my inner fandom take over a bit too much. Maybe I need to zoom out and look at what this team is capable of. Ryan helps me with that in this episode.
