There’s never usually any shortage of outrageous transfer rumors flying about and today’s comes courtesy of the one and only Defensa Central and talk of PSG throwing all kinds of cash at Barcelona for
Lamine Yamal.
The ‘report’ claims PSG have been trying to land Yamal for a little while now and have decided the best way is to simply break the world transfer record to sign the teenager.
Neymar’s transfer from Barca to PSG for €222m remains the most expensive bit of business in the football world, but the Ligue 1 side are apparently ready to smash that and offer Barca €230m for Yamal.
The only problem for PSG is that even that may not be enough. Barca don’t want to sell and will no doubt remind Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Co. that Yamal’s release clause stands at €1 billion.
Barca may also want to remind PSG that Yamal has made it clear he wants to stay at Barcelona forever and penned a long-term contract until 2031 earlier this year.
