The Pittsburgh Steelers released their first 53-man roster of the 2025 season on Tuesday, which means they’ve made their final cuts of the preseason. That list of players is as follows:
- OLB Eku Leota
- OLB DeMarvin Leal
- CB Beanie Bishop
- S Chuck Clark
- CB James Pierre
- OL Dylan Cook
- S Sebastian Castro
- WR Brandon Johnson
- WR Robert Woods
- WR Ke’Shawn Williams
- OL Max Scharping
- RB Trey Sermon
- DT Domenique Davis
The most notable name here is Beanie Bishop. The undrafted cornerback out
of West Virginia appeared in all 17 games as a rookie and picked off four passes. Safety Chuck Clark is also a notable subtraction, as the Steelers will now have to find a No. 3 safety to put behind Juan Thornhill and DeShon Elliott.
Don’t be surprised if the Steelers make that addition sooner rather than later, which means more cuts would have to come.
