It’s almost time for the Seattle Seahawks to face off against the Indianapolis Colts and the recently unretired Philip Rivers in Week 15 NFL action at Lumen Field.
The game carries important potential playoff
seeding implications for the Seahawks, as they look to keep pace with the Los Angeles Rams in both the NFC West and the race for the top overall seed in the NFC, with the two teams set to face off on Thursday Night Football with the division lead on the line.
For the Colts the game is an opportunity to keep their playoff aspirations alive, after the last month has seen seemingly everything that can go wrong actually, in fact, go wrong. It’s been such a downward spiral after starting the season 7-1 that the recently unretired Philip Rivers is set to start at quarterback after being out of the NFL for nearly five years.
For the Seahawks it’s been almost the opposite over the past couple of weeks, with injured veterans getting healthy and returning from injured reserve, leaving the weekly inactives to include players who had regularly suited up for games earlier in the year .
The full list of inactives is:
- QB Jalen Milroe
- WR Jake Bobo
- OL Mason Richman
- OL Bryce Cabeldue
- LB Jared Ivey
- LB Connor O’Toole
