The Kentucky Wildcats are getting prepared to head to Columbia as they face off with Shane Beamer and the South Carolina Gamecocks. In what has become a pivotal game for the Gamecocks, the Cats are going to look to spoil the party and move to 4-1 on the season.
However, for the first time this season, some injuries have started to stack up, especially at key positions.
In tonight’s update, DJ Miller remained doubtful alongside starting long-snapper Cole Marszalek. Jordan Castell was removed from the
list and looks to be good to go for Saturday. And a new name was added tonight in linebacker Tavion Wallace, as he is listed as questionable for the game in Columbia.
For the Gamecocks, they did not have any changes to tonight’s report, with the big story still surrounding the suspension of starting defensive lineman Dylan Stewart. Add that in with starting defensive lineman Gabriel Browlow-Dindy still being listed as questionable, and one strength of this South Carolina team could be compromised come kickoff on Saturday.
We will wait until tomorrow to see if any major changes come for either side, but for UK, let’s hope to see some positive movement on Miller and Wallace.
