The Cleveland Browns are preparing to take on Todd Monken’s former team, the Baltimore Ravens. It will be the team’s second divisional matchup of the season, making a win crucial. Facing the 4-1 Ravens won’t be easy, and the Browns will need to make several key improvements to secure the win.
The biggest concern heading into this week is which version of the offense will show up. Cleveland recorded just 198 net yards against the New York Jets, and that level of offensive production won’t cut it against Baltimore.
The running game still hasn’t hit its stride, but this would be an ideal week for Judkins to take off, if he’s able to play. They also need to finish drives with touchdowns rather than settle for field goals.
Lamar Jackson seems unlikely to play this weekend, and if he steps on that field, containing him will be one of the defense’s biggest challenges. Between Jackson and Derrick Henry’s ability to take over games, the Browns’ run defense will need to be dialed in. Henry is tough to contain, so the defense should aim to put the Ravens’ offense in difficult situations that limit his ability to dominate the game.
