Happy Saturday, Jets fans!
The Jets try to improve their record to 2-1 tomorrow as they face the Detroit Lions at Ford Field. Detroit has one of the league’s most explosive offenses so it will be the most difficult test for Aaron Glenn’s revamped defense. So far the Jets have held up well against Tennessee and Green Bay, but those offense are limited.
The Jets are dealing with injuries. Starting tight end Mason Taylor will miss Week 3 with a thumb injury, while starting wide receiver Adonai Mitchell
is questionable with a finger injury. It has been a bad week for the hands of Jets pass catchers.
Of course, Jets fans will keep an eye on how Indianapolis and Dallas do. Green Bay has already lost in Week 3. Things could be shaping up for the Jets to have three top picks in the 2027 NFL Draft.
