The Wisconsin Badgers have another tough matchup ahead of them on Saturday, facing the No. 6 Oregon Ducks in Eugene. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. on FS1.
While the Badgers were already reeling from a five-game
losing streak and back-to-back shutout losses, Saturday could get ugly fast, as Wisconsin is severely ravaged with injuries.
Here’s the full injury report for the Badgers:

Holy. Cow. Wisconsin is going to be without starting quarterback Billy Edwards, running backs Dilin Jones and Darrion Dupree, offensive linemen Jake Renfro and Kerry Kodanko, linebacker Christian Alliegro, and safety Preston Zachman.
Then, there are four questionable players: D’Yoni Hill, who has missed the last few games, Tucker Ashcraft, Jay’Viar Suggs, and Parker Petersen.
The big killer is both Jones and Dupree being out for the Badgers. Dupree was hurt two weeks ago, while Jones went out in the first half of last weekend’s loss. That means Cade Yacamelli and Gideon Ituka will be Wisconsin’s top two backs. Ituka had a good end to last weekend’s game and will look to build on that.
Tyrell Henry remains out at wide receiver, which means we may see more Eugene Hilton in the slot behind Trech Kekahuna.
Along the offensive line is where things get real bad. Jake Renfro is out. Which usually means Kerry Kodanko, who has been starting at right guard, would get the start. But, he’s also out! So, the Badgers will likely turn to redshirt freshmen Ryan Cory and Colin Cubberly at center and right guard, respectively.
Along the defensive line, the statuses of Jay’Viar Suggs and Parker Petersen are key because Wisconsin has mainly trusted four defensive linemen this season. Without those two, Dillan Johnson and Nolan Vils could see an uptick in snaps.
At linebacker, Christian Alliegro is a big loss. Mason Posa had been playing the star position, which is what Aaron Witt had been at, but he saw some action when Alliegro went down momentarily last weekend at the middle linebacker spot and could get his first career start on Saturday.
At cornerback, D’Yoni Hill could be back, which would likely mean he’d rotate in with Omillio Agard. If not, expect Agard and true freshman Cairo Skanes to take the boundary corner reps.
At safety, though, Preston Zachman remains out, and Matthew Traynor, who was hurt last weekend, is also out. So, it’ll be Austin Brown and Matt Jung for probably the entire game.
This is the biggest injury bug the Badgers have faced so far this season. That’s not ideal against a top-10 team on the road.
