It’s Friday night and so you know what that means? It’s time for the survey results from this week. I hope you’ve had time to read all of our coverage from last night’s Alabama game. It’s been an exciting
24 hours here for Purdue fans. But enough of that, let’s get into the results shall we?
First, I wanted to know who was the best newcomer for Purdue basketball. I included the asterisk because I included Daniel Jacobsen in the newcomers list since he was coming back from just one game and one minute last season prior to the broken leg.
We are only three real games into the season but so far there was a runaway favorite in this one. Jack Benter grabbed an incredible 78% of the vote. Makes a certain amount of sense when you consider that he was thrust into a starting role with the injury to TKR for the first two games.
Then, I wanted to check the pulse to see if the fans believe that Purdue would be able to take down Washington tomorrow. This game is on the road at Washington and involves former Purdue head coach Ryan Walters. So let’s check in.
I had to double check the results of this one but they say they are right. 28% of fans think Purdue will pull off the upset against the Huskies. This was shocking to me. Really rooting for that 28% tomorrow evening.
