Florida State wide receiver Duce Robinson will miss the remainder of the 2026 season with a torn ACL, according to multiple reports.
ESPN was the first to report the news.
Robinson suffered the injury in Saturday’s 36-24 home loss to Clemson and exited in the third quarter with FSU trailing 26-10. He finished the game with two catches for 31 yards. The tear is isolated with no complications, indicating a typical recovery timeline, per ESPN.
Through eight games, the senior leads the Seminoles with 24
receptions for 438 yards and four touchdowns. In 2025, he broke out with 56 catches for 1,081 yards and six touchdowns, FSU’s first 1,000-yard receiving season since 2019, and earned first-team All-ACC honors (most votes of any player), Biletnikoff Award semifinalist recognition, and the team’s offensive MVP award.
A 6-foot-6 transfer from USC and FSU legacy (his father Dominic played for the Seminoles), Robinson returned for his senior season after forgoing the NFL Draft, citing belief in the program and a desire to give back to the fans. He is also a standout scholar-athlete: magna cum laude with a 3.90 GPA, first-team Academic All-American, Campbell Trophy finalist, and Witten Collegiate Man of the Year semifinalist.
His absence is a major hit for the Noles as they’re already without star running back Ousmane Kromah for the season and now playing under interim coach Rick Stockstill after Mike Norvell’s firing. Remaining games are at Boston College, at Pitt, vs. NC State, and vs. Florida. Expect increased roles for Micahi Danzy, Jayvan Boggs, Jasen Lopez, and other young receivers as FSU finishes the year.
