Both Maryland men’s and women’s basketball will have new primary advertising logos on their Xfinity Center home court.
Maryland Athletics has partnered with Vanda Pharmaceuticals as the school’s presenting sponsor for basketball, the school announced Thursday. Vanda’s logo will be present on Maryland’s court, the first time the school has had such a partnership.
Other company imagery will be visible from TV angles, and the company will be promoted on team radio and social media feeds.
Vanda Pharmaceuticals is a Washington, D.C.-based company specializing in “the development and commercialization of innovative therapies to address high unmet medical needs to improve the lives of patients,” according to the release.
