The Washington Wizards have not won in what seems to be a month-long period of subpar performances.
In fact, if the Wizards lose yet again, it will be their 13th straight loss, and it will bring their losing
streak to a whole 30-day span.

Pregame notes
Winless in NBA Cup play— The Wizards are yet to have collected an NBA Cup game. I do not know if there is another team that has yet to ever win in the NBA Cup. Let us know in the comments!
A tale of two rebuilds — The Raptors and the Wizards have been rebuilding in the last few years. Yet, the Raptors have turned things around much quicker it seems. This season they are playing (very) surprisingly (very) well! They have just won 9 of their last 10 games. Who would have believed that they would be sitting at 10-5 after 15 games. The Wizards on the other hand lost their last 12 games.
Of course, it is not all gloom, as the Wizards do have promising young pieces and a one or two trade chips (CJ McCollum could bring back a first-rounder).
Flashback: Double OT in the Arena
Several years ago, and while D.C. was snowed in, those who managed to make it to the game saw fantastic showdown with Kawhi and Beal with a double OT nail-biter.
It’s perhaps nice to watch again:
