The Chargers have finally made it official with their own unique announcement regarding their new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel.
After about a week since the initial reports that the Bolts were expected
to hire McDaniel to replace Greg Roman, the social media team dropped a snippet from a video with McDaniel wearing the powder blue and gold while being instructed how the “introduction video” will be shot. At the end, McDaniel introduces himself as the offensive coordinator for the Chargers.

The Chargers have now filled one of their two coordinator openings for the 2026 season. The next step, at least on the offensive side, is to find their next offensive line coach.
