When Charlotte took Kon Knueppel with the #4 pick in this past summer’s NBA Draft, there were a lot of doubters. It’s still early, but he’s made a case for the faith the Hornets have shown in him.
Knueppel
finished the opener against the Nets with 11 points, five rebounds an assist – and a ton of praise.
He and fellow rookie Ryan Kalkbrenner are ahead of the curve and for the first time in a very long time, there is a sense of optimism with the Hornets.
He’s doing exactly what he did at Duke – making smart plays that put team success first.
