The Guardians got shut out last night and had a variety of defensive issues surface.
Deborah has your recap here. I would say that the Guardians hitters often appeared cold. They better get used to it given they are about to play a mess of games in Northeast Ohio in April.
The Columbus Clippers beat the Iowa Cubs again last night, Nolan Jones homered again, Juan Brito doubled again and took two walks, and Travis Bazzana had two walks. Milan Tolentino also homered. Brito played first base, so he has
now played third twice and first once. Interesting.
No update on Tanner Bibee today which makes me suspect he may be headed for an IL stint after all. Hopefully, a short one.
