Given the results so far in two weeks of the 2025 NFL season, the Green Bay Packers do not seem to need much help to defeat the Cleveland Browns in Week 3. The Packers have looked like the best team in the NFL, while many Browns fans are wondering when a quarterback change could happen, including potentially trading away one of the rookies.
Not all is lost for Cleveland against Green Bay but, like most things in the NFL, it starts at quarterback.
While they may not need much help, the Packers are always
looking for an edge, which led them to bring in former Browns QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson for a workout ahead of this week’s matchup:
Cleveland’s fifth-round pick in 2023, DTR was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason, along with a fifth-round pick, in exchange for Kenny Pickett, another former Browns quarterback playing elsewhere. The Eagles waived Thompson-Robinson at the end of training camp
In two seasons in Cleveland, DTR started five games, playing in 10 others, but completed just 53% of his passes with one touchdown and 10 interceptions. His two seasons with the Browns should give the Packers some insight into HC Kevin Stefanski’s systems for this week.
