Darren Till vs. Luke Rockhold squared off in a Bridgerweight contest earlier tonight (Sat. Aug. 30, 2025) at Misfits Boxing 22 live on DAZN inside AO Arena in Manchester, England. In an excellent performance, Till smoked Rockhold via round-three knockout.
Rockhold advanced to start, working behind the jab. Till landed early with a nice left hand. Rockhold answered well with a 3-2 combination. Another 3-2 scored clean for Rockhold, who looked much larger than his opponent. “The Gorilla” worked to establish
the jab to the body. Before long, he was landing his left to the body as well. Rockhold’s jab upstairs split the guard well.
Out of nowhere, Till landed a trio of 1-2s at the very end of the round. The last one sat down Rockhold HARD, but but he was just able to beat the count and make it back to his corner. 60 seconds isn’t that long to recover though …
Till came out aggressive in the second and landed another hard left. Rockhold still looked a bit wobbly. Rockhold managed to recover his legs a bit and found a few jabs, starting the process of working back into the fight. Then, a heavy 1-2 from Till stunned Rockhold, who just barely avoided a knockdown call. The former UFC champion was still in a bad way, but Till didn’t throw much and let him survive to the bell.
After six minutes of action, Rockhold was in a deep hole.
Rockhold couldn’t see the left hand coming, and it just barely missed 30 seconds into the third. Till cornered Rockhold, unleashing a lengthy combination punctuated by a vicious left hand that fully knocked out Rockhold. The former UFC champion hit the canvas awkwardly, crumbling over his own legs.
This was a star-making performance for “The Gorilla,” who more than lived up to his pre-fight trash talk. Rockhold looked sharp for maybe two minutes, then Till’s left hand found the mark with brutal consistency. Once Till established his range, he never let Rockhold off the hook, rocking him over and over again before the nasty finish.
Simply put: Till looks way too sharp for the influencer/old man boxing scene. Think Jake Paul wants any of that action?
