Steve Garcia proved that he is in fact a “Mean Machine,” stopping fellow featherweight contender David Onama with a vicious TKO finish earlier tonight (Sat., Nov. 1, 2025) at UFC Vegas 110 LIVE on ESPN+ from inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Saturday’s main event was going to be a coming out party for either Garcia or Onama. Both featherweights were competing in their first UFC headlining act and looking to push their way into the division’s top 10. As we know, UFC’s featherweight division is one
of the most stacked in the promotion so fighters usually have to do a little something extra to stand out.
Luckily for Garcia, he was operating on all cylinders. His timing, distance control, and shot selection looked good early on. This allowed “Mean Machine” to find a window of opportunity and land a powerful left hand counter. Onama stumbled and was in serious trouble. Garcia walked him down inside of the Octagon landing heavy left hands and strikes to the body. Onama eventually crumbled to the canvas where Garcia landed the final few shots before the referee stepped in.
